Dave, Carol, Marilyn and Rick went to the Tucson Rodeo today. La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros is the longest running rodeo in the nation. Many of the top riders were participating. We had a great time. The announcers and clowns kept us entertained and the skill level of the cowboys was impressive. There was plenty of food and shopping on the premises, and the people watching was superb. We ate turkey legs and churros dipped in chocolate. Marilyn bought a cowgirl hat. We stopped at El Guero Canelo (a local favorite restaurant) for a Sonoran hot dog after the rodeo. Great day!
