Dave and I hiked in the Tucson Mountains to the top of Wasson Peak with our hiking group from the RV Resort. We parked at a trailhead across the road from the Tucson Desert Museum. The total hike was 8.9 miles with an elevation gain of 1200 feet. The weather was great and the scenery in the Saguaro National Park was outstanding. We had marvelous views of the valley and Tucson from the top of the peak. We even saw some petroglyphs on the sides of a wash near the trailhead.
