Day 3 - Albuquerque, New Mexico to Palm Desert, California

We spent another long day on the road heading through Flagstaff and Phoenix before stopping in Palm Desert, CA. Palm Springs is right next door so we were in some very nice real estate. Our hotel was the Deep Canyon Inn and it was very 50's retro. We even had a fireplace in our room. We took a spin through the El Paseo shopping district (pretty much like Rodeo Drive) and then had a woodfire grilled pizza for dinner.
